THREE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR RIM MOUNT

LAUTEN AUDIO PROUDLY WARRANTS RIM MOUNT TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP UNDER NORMAL USE FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE.

DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, LAUTEN AUDIO WILL REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT ITS DISCRETION, PRODUCTS OR PARTS THAT PROVE DEFECTIVE DUE TO FAULTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP UNDER NORMAL USE AND MAINTENANCE.

LAUTEN AUDIO LIMITS THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

LAUTEN AUDIO’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND/OR REPLACEMENT, IN ITS SOLE DETERMINATION, AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.

1. WHO MAY USE THIS WARRANTY

This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of Rim Mount from Lauten Audio or it’s authorized dealers and applies to new Rim Mount purchases only. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the product and also does not extend to any used, open-box, B-stock or refurbished purchases. 

2. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS

During the Warranty Period, products or parts that prove defective due to a fault in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance are covered under warranty.

3. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

This limited warranty does not cover any damages or problems caused by:

  1.    Transportation

  2.    Storage

  3.    Unauthorized repair

  4.    Modifications

  5.    Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship

  6.    Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

  7.    Damage resulting from improper installation or use with products not specified by the manufacturer

  8.    Damage caused to products that are mounted with the mount

  9.    Damage resulting from any items falling from the mount

  10.    External causes, such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond reasonable control of Lauten Audio.

4. PERIOD OF COVERAGE

This limited warranty begins on the date of original purchase from Lauten Audio or a Lauten Audio Authorized reseller and lasts for a period of THREE (3) YEARS (“Warranty Period”). A replacement product or part assumes the remaining Warranty Period of the original product or for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer. The details of the availability of this limited warranty are subject to change at Lauten Audio’s discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

5. REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY

With respect to any defective products during the Warranty Period, Lauten Audio will, in its sole discretion, (i) repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts or (ii) replace the product if repair is not feasible. Lauten Audio will also pay shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement product to you if we elect to repair or replace the defective product. The costs of packaging and/or shipping products to Lauten Audio are not covered under warranty.

6. OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICES

To obtain warranty service, you must contact Lauten Audio’s Customer Service Department during the Warranty Period to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution. Proof of purchase and details, including pictures and/or video regarding the defect, may be required for warranty service.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This limited warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the state of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE REMEDIES AS DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND LAUTEN AUDIO’S ENTIRE OBLIGATION AND LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. LAUTEN AUDIO’S LIABILITY WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL ORIGINAL AMOUNT PAID FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED, NOR WILL LAUTEN AUDIO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES WHETHER INDIRECT OR DIRECT RESULTING FROM ITEMS FALLING FROM THE MOUNT.

 

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

 

This warranty is void if the product is altered, modified, or used in any way not intended by the manufacturer.

9. FINAL PROVISION

If any provision of this warranty is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable. By using this product, you agree to the terms and conditions of this warranty.
